We are no longer accepting session proposals for the 2019 Annual Meeting and World Congress on Exercise is Medicine being held May 28 – June 1, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
If you submitted a proposal, you will receive notification on the status of your submission by early-September.

2019 Scientific and Clinical Case Abstract Submission
Submissions will be accepted beginning early-September 2018. Deadline: Thurs., Nov. 1, 2018 | 11:59 p.m. PST
Present your research at the most comprehensive sports medicine and exercise science meeting in the world. Each person is permitted to submit and be first author on one scientific and one clinical case abstract for the annual meeting, which includes the World Congress on the Basic Science of Muscle Hypertrophy and Atrophy, and one scientific abstract for the World Congress on Exercise is Medicine®.
With 12 topical categories, including Exercise is Medicine®, these three meetings offer attendees outstanding programming covering the science, practice, public health, and policy aspects of sports medicine, exercise science, and physical activity.

2019 Late Breaking Research Abstract Submission

ACSM will again offer a late breaking submission for research abstracts between February 15-March 1, 2019. These submissions will undergo review by members of the Program Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters in the Poster Hall on Saturday, June 1st and the abstract’s first author must be present at the designated time and place. The cost of late breaking abstract submission will be $250 and limited to the first 50 submissions. The submitter will be required to write a statement indicating the reason the research is late breaking.
2019 Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellow Clinical Research Abstract Submission

Sports medicine fellows (those in an accredited sports medicine or orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship program) will be allowed to submit research abstracts between February 15 – March 1, 2019. Research abstracts can be submitted for acceptance by having an ACSM Fellow sponsor the abstract. Abstracts without sponsorship will be reviewed by members of the ACSM Program Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters in a special area of the Poster Hall on Thursday, May 30, and the abstract’s first author must be present at the designated time and place. The cost of abstract submission will remain at $35.
